A Secondary School principal in Nakuru risks facing defilement charges for reportedly having sex with a form four girl sitting the KCSE exams.
Police and the Teachers Service Commission have already launched a probe into the incident to establish if the principal had sex with the student.
The school head was arrested last Thursday after members of the public reported seeing the girl going to his house the previous day. He was later released on cash bail.
Sources told the Press Point that an examination conducted at a local health facility showed that the girl had sexual intercourse.
The girl’s parents have already been summoned to help the police to among others, establish her actual age which will assist in preferring the charges if any.
Anyone who defiles a child aged 16-18 years is liable to imprisonment for a term not less than 15 years.
