Police in Kuresoi, Nakuru are holding a man, his wife and their son over killing of a 39-year-old man at a Chang’aa den in Arorwet village.
A confrontation ensued between Mr Stanley Sing’oei and brewer Sheila Langat while at the latter’s home after the man discovered that his Sh23, 500 was missing.
The dispute attracted the attention of the woman’s husband Charles Langat and their 17-year-old son who hacked him to death using a machete.
His lifeless body with deep cuts on the head was recovered from the scene by area Assistant Chief Hillary Rotich.
Police officers who visited the scene recovered the murder weapon which will be used as an exhibit.
The three will face murder charges.
