The 10PM curfew has been extended for two months as government seeks to stem spread of Covid-19 that continues to wreak havoc across the country as Western Counties continue to report a surge.
The extension of the curfew that commences at 10:00pm and ends at 4:00am comes a month after the government lifted the cessation of movement in zoned Nairobi, Kiambu, kajiado, Machakos and Nakuru counties.
Interior CS Fred Matiang’i also extended the ban on public gatherings, procession or movement during curfew time.
The new measures take effect from May 28 and will be in force for the next 60 days.
