Senior citizens aged above 75 years have been offered a free entry ticket to Nairobi National Park for a period of one month as the establishment celebrates its 75th Anniversary this year.

The elders will also enjoy a free ticket for an extra person to accompany them and a tour vehicle into the park.

The offer that started on November 25 and will end on Christmas Day seeks to celebrate efforts made by the elders in conserving wildlife.

Tourism CS Najib Balala said the move was geared towards celebrating the milestone of the park had achieved as the only city based park in the whole world.

The celebration is geared towards appreciating wildlife conservation at the park that was established in December 1946.
