Two men in Kibera, Nairobi have been charged for allegedly defiling a 14-year-old girl on New Year’s Eve.
Mr Kennedy Irungu Maina and Emmanuel Mutemi are said to have ambushed two girls who were on their way from a night church service before dragging one of them to a nearby deserted house.
The two defiled the minor repeatedly before she was rescued and taken to the hospital by well wishers.
Appearing before Resident Magistrate William Tullel of Kibera Law Courts, the suspects denied the charges and were released on Sh800, 000 bond with two sureties or same amount.
