Migori County Assembly Speaker Boaz Okoth has been arrested for breaking into a public office with a group of youths.
The officer was in company of seven youths when he broke into the County Assembly’s Finance department office and started picking several files.
Mr Okoth would after police were alerted, lock himself up in the office for some hours before he finally agreed to open.
He is being interrogated by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations as investigations into the incident continue.
