Central Region Police Commander Titus Karuri has been involved in a road accident along Kangema-Kingumo road in Murang’a County.
Confirming the incident Murang’a County police boss Mr Donatha Kiplangat said Mr Karuri’s vehicle lost control and overturned landing into a ditch.
The police boss was rushed to a nearby health centre where he received first aid before being airlifted to Nairobi for specialized treatment.
Mr Kiplangat however said that he was in a stable condition and called upon motorists to be vigilant while using the roads.
