Whether or not a bright Isiolo boy who scored 378 marks in KCPE will join Form One at Meru School next week still remains in the balance.
Khalid Hassan had contemplated suicide after his single mother of eight Sadia told him that she could not raise fees for his secondary education.
The action made residents and parents officials air the issue on media in effort to have the young boy join Secondary School on August 2, 2021.
But five days to his reporting date, no single leader has come out to assist Mr Khalid.
Among leaders who have pledged to assist the boy are County Secretary Dr Ahmed Galgalo and Nominated MCA Sumeya Bishar though they are yet to honour their promises.
Mr Khalid needs at least Sh80, 000 to cater for the whole year fees and few necessities that are to be bought at the school.
