Forty-three people have died of Covid-19 in the past three days with more than 3000 Kenyans having contracted the disease within the same period.
A total of 3, 159 positive cases were reported between Thursday and Saturday when 20, 895 tests were conducted bringing the total cumulative cases as of April 17 to 151, 287.
The fatalities were distributed as: Thursday (four), Friday (19), and Saturday (20). The total reported deaths since the first case was reported in March 2020 is 2, 463 (by April 17).
