Soy MP Caleb Kositany and his Kapseret counterpart Oscar Sudi have been summoned over alleged involvement in stoning of Azimio la Umoja Presidential candidate Raila Odinga’s chopper.

The malicious damage incident happened yesterday during the burial of late Jackson  Kibor around 5:50pm.

Chaos erupted towards the end of the ceremony with rowdy youths hurling stones at Mr Odinga damaging his helicopter’s windscreen.

Preliminary probe by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations show that the chaos were organised by the two MPs together with Uasin Gishu Speaker David Kiplagat.

The three have been ordered to appear before Rift Valley DCI regional coordinator.

A total of 17 suspects have been arrested in connection with the incident.

The suspects were found with money in Sh50 denominations and mobile phones that are aiding in forensic investigations.

The 17 are helping in ongoing probe, National Police Service said.
