Tens of business people in Makutano, Meru are counting huge loses after an inferno razed down their business premises.
Property estimated to be worth Sh3 million were destroyed by the inferno during the last night incident along Meru town -Makutano highway.
The traders have decried delayed response by the County government fire department saying if they had responded on time, some property would have been salvaged.
The cause of the fire remains unknown.
