Deputy President Dr William Ruto is holed up in a meeting with his Tangatanga brigade at his Karen home in Nairobi.
The leaders are expected to come up with a decision on whether to support the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) or not.
In the recent past, Dr Ruto who had initially vehemently opposed the clamor for the constitutional changes softened ground and seems to be considering joining the wagon driven by President Uhuru Kenyatta and his ‘handshake’ partner Raila Amolo Odinga.
Meanwhile, there is a team of hardliners led by Tharaka Nithi Senator Kithure Kindiki who have vowed to stay put in opposing BBI.
Recently Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and his The Service Party of Kenya (TSP) leader and former Agriculture CS Mwangi Kiunjuri changed tune and joined the push for the constitutional changes.
