Police in Nandi County are hunting down a General Service Unit (GSU) officer who reportedly killed a man he found having s*x with his wife.
Reports indicate that the officer based at Lokichogio in Turkana had travelled home Monday only to find his wife and Mr Henry Cheruiyot in the act on their matrimonial bed.
Out of anger, the officer is said to have descended on the deceased with kicks and blows and left him unconscious before he was rushed to Meteitei Sub-County hospital by well-wishers.
Following his deteriorating condition, the victim was later transferred to Nandi County Referral Hospital where he succumbed to injuries.
Police recovered a blood stained inner wear, a hood and a t-shirt in the suspect’s house that are believed to belong to the deceased.
The body of the deceased was moved at the same facility’s morgue awaiting postmortem.
