A 32-year-old Alex Nderi popularly known as DJ Lithium who died under unclear circumstances at his place of work was Friday buried at their Kathanjuri village in Embu.

Emotions ran high as the remains of the DJ who was to turn 33 on February 19 were lowered into the grave.

It is claimed that Lithium, who hosted Club Capital Show on Fridays from 11pm to 2am, died after consuming poison while at work place.

He deleted all his social media platforms and texted some of his relatives telling them he was no more before his death.

His colleagues at work said he left a suicide note citing family issues as the reason for taking away his life.

“He was okay before he got into the washrooms with some liquor. But was weak when he came out and on asking him, he only said he is sorry,” one of distraught collegues earlier said.
