Police in Meru are interrogating Isiolo County Assembly Deputy Speaker David Lemantile for being in possession of allegedly stolen cattle.
Reports indicate that some stolen cattle were found in the Oldonyiro MCA’s herd raising suspicion.
An officer privy to the issue told The Press Point that detectives were seeking to establish how the animals stolen elsewhere landed in the leader’s group of cows.
