Tension is high in Kinna, Garbatulla Sub-County after a man was shot dead by unknown assailants while riding on a motorbike along Garbatulla-Duse road.
The 25-year-old Diba Roba Idi was with the motorbike’s rider when they were ambushed by a group of attackers near Dambala Urura watering point on Monday morning.
The attackers fled towards Garissa County after committing the crime.
Manhunt for the attackers has been launched with residents asked to volunteer information to help in making arrest.
The incident comes barely three months after police arrested a couple and recovered four rifles and 203 ammunitions at their home in the area.
