Police in Makueni County are hunting down a cleric who raped a Form three girl inside his car.
Daniel Kimeu who ministers at AIC Kalebwani church in Kilungu reportedly committed the offence on October 19 and warned the 18-year-old student of dire consequences should she disclose the ordeal to anyone.
The clergy man had offered the girl, who was walking home from Kikuswi market, a ride when he stopped the vehicle a few kilometres away from the market and committed the crime.
The suspect went into hiding immediately after the incident.
