An unknown number of people have been injured in a plane crash in Elwak, Mandera.
The Skyward Express-owned aircraft Reg No. 5Y GRS, reportedly with more than 40 passengers on board, crash-landed at Boru Hache along the Kenya-Somali border on Wednesday morning.
The company in a release to media houses said it was working closely with relevant authorities to establish the cause of the accident.
“We have received information of our aircraft on a charter service having being involved in an accident on landing in Elwak…We wish to reassure our customers that all other scheduled operations are going on as normal,” the Skyward Express management team shared.
