At least 10 Kenya Defence Forces Soldiers died following a military plane crash in Ngong, Kajiado County.
Reports indicate that 10 others cheated death when the aircraft caught fire at Ol-Tepesi village. They escaped with severe injuries.
A video of the chopper going down in flames has since been trending online.
Kenya Defence Forces said the accident occurred around 9am while the helicopter was landing at the area.
“A Mi 171e Air Force Helicopter, on training mission, crash landed at the area” KDF shared on Twitter.
