The Senate Special Committee has recommended the dismissal from office of Wajir Governor Mohamed Abdi Mahamud.
The committee has held that the governor abused office as stated in the impeachment motion passed in the county assembly.
The Members of the County Assembly (MCAs) impeached Mr Mahamud on three counts.
What is now remaining for the governor to be declared jobless is just voting by the Senate to either adopt or reject the report.
