A Tharaka Nithi based police officer is nursing severe burns at Gatunga Catholic Mission Hospital after he was allegedly burnt with hot water by his wife.
The officer, whose name we have withheld, is based at Makutano Police station in Tharaka North sustained burns on his face and chest.
Reports indicate the couple had some domestic differences.
The suspect is being sought, an officer pricy to the matter and who is not allowed to address the media told The Press Point.
