President Uhuru Kenyatta has accused his deputy William Ruto of hypocrisy and dared him to resign.

The Head of State, in what was construed to be directed to Dr Ruto, said ‘if you want to be part of the government, stay in and if not so, leave’.

Mr Kenyatta stressed the need for leaders to respect each other and work together towards the realization of peace and development.

He said his government was committed to uniting Kenyans and ensuring improved livelihoods through job creation.

The President, while commissioning projects in Kiambu County, warned leaders against divisive politics and inciting Kenyans.
