Residents of Modogashe in Garbatulla, Isiolo were on Monday morning treated to a rude shock after a 20-year-old man was buried alive by sand at Sileti well.
It is believed that Mr Ali Alio Edin had gone to fetch water at the well when the walls collapsed on him.
Police and members of the public are currently at the scene searching for his body.
Three more people were injured during the incident according to police sources.
