A male bodaboda rider and 62-year-old woman were Wednesday morning badly injured in an accident near Jamia Mosque in Isiolo town.
A tour vehicle from Marsabit side hit the rider while overtaking another vehicle and then rammed into the woman who was walking by the roadside injuring her.
The pair were rushed to Isiolo Referral Hospital for treatment as bodaboda riders in the town threatened to take action against the driver.
A wreckage of the motorbike lay at the area as residents engaged in better exchange with some traffic police officers who rushed to the scene.
Police sources said the driver will be arraigned for dangerous driving and flouting traffic rules.
