Meru Nominated MCA Petronilla Gainchi Kiao died today while receiving treatment at a Nairobi hospital.
Meru Speaker Joseph Kaberia termed the death, that occured at Mp Shah hospital, as a monumental loss to Meru county and Kenya as a whole.
Meru Majority Leader Victor Karithi mourned Ms Kiao as an objective leader with big heart and who never hesitated to support House agenda due to political differences.
Kiao will be remembered for Championing compensation of Ksh. 192,301 to Reuben Mburugu a former County government enforcement officer who sustained injuries while on duty in March 2017.
Her death comes a few days after the death of Kahawa Wendani MCA Cyrus Omondi who died in a hotel at India.
