Hundreds of residents in Kiawara along Nyeri-Nyahururu road are sleeping in the cold after their homes were razed down by fire.
Property worth millions of shillings including more than 200 houses were destroyed during the Sunday night’s inferno.
Residents have appealed to the government and well-wishers to intervene and help the victims whose children at the verge of dropping out of school as they lost everything in the accident.
Police have since launched investigations into the fire incident whose cause is yet to be established.
