Police in Trans Nzoia County are hunting down a man who allegedly stabbed his friend to death while fighting for women at a chang’aa den.
Reports indicate that the deceased identified as Kevin Sakwa identified one of the attendants and approached her before the suspect engaged him in a heated argument that resulted into the unfortunate incident.
The brewer stabbed Mr Sakwa severally on the chest and left him the dead before fleeing.
Irate members of the public who heard the commotion rushed in and on finding the lifeless body lying outside, set the suspect’s house ablaze.
The body was taken to Kitale County Referral Hospital awaiting postmortem.
