Interior Cs Fred Matiang’i has gazetted July 11 as a public holiday to celebrate Idd-Ul-Adha, the second and biggest of two main holidays celebrated by Muslims.
It is celebrated to honour Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son Ismail as act of obedience to Allah’s command.
