Senate debate on the Building Bridges Initiative Bill 2020 has been suspended for 30 minutes following the arrest of Meru Senator Mithika Linturi.
Speaker Ken Lusaka has been forced to suspend the session after Senators raised concern over the arrest of their colleague.
The Senator was arrested over alleged multimillion bank forgery.
