Police in Syokimau, Machakos have arrested a military doctor for opening fire at a bodaboda rider who dropped his daughter last evening.
The rider had to flee for safety after the man quickly emerged from the gate to White house estate and beat the girl up and then whipped out his pistol and fired towards him.
The operator, Wycliffe Atendo who picked the 21-year-old lady outside a pharmacy along Kimathi street, was waiting to be paid when the lady’s father confronted them.
The suspect was arrested after the man reported the incident at Syokimau police station.
Police established that the man had a glock pistol and 42 rounds of 9mm calibre.
The suspect has been handed over to military police for further action.
