Embattled Isiolo college principal Emmanuel Ekisa was on Friday arraigned for defrauding 33 students Sh207, 000 KNEC exam fees that made them unable to sit the final exams.’
Mr Ekisa of Catholic Diocese of Isiolo’s Maria Consolata Teachers Training College was arrested yesterday after the affected students protested prompting action by police and other State actors.
Before Isiolo Chief Magistrate Lucy Mutai, the principal faced stealing by servant charges that he pleaded not guilty to.
He was released on a Sh200, 000 bond or Sh160, 000 cash bail.
The case will be mentioned on December 16 and heard on March 24, 2022.
