Embu Governor Martin Wambora has re-organised his cabinet for improved services.
All the chief officers have been affected in the shake up that Mr Wambora said will ensure smooth operations.
Ms Mary Wanja has been moved to Health docket from Infrastruture and Public Works now being held by Mr Fredrick Karua while Mr Michael Njagi of Transport will take over the Education department.
Health Chief Officer Roseline Wanjuki has been appointed Director of Public Health while her Finance counterpart Ruth Wambui has been moved to Agriculture.
Mr Jeravesio Mbogo and Mr Damiano Njagi take over as new Physical Planning, Housing and Urban Development and Finance Chief officers respectively.
The changes were communicated in a circular dated June 25, 2021 with Governor Wambora reiterating commitment to ensuring improved service delivery.
Mr Wambora in 2019 reshuffled chief officers triggering protests from Embu MCAs who accused him of maintaining some who had been accused of corruption.
The MCAs then accused the Governor of transferring the officers instead of firing them.
