A 26-year-old woman has died after an argument arose between her and a male friend who was driving a car they were traveling in causing an accident at Equator area along Nyeri-Nanyuki road in Laikipia County.
Ms Jackline Nyokabi, in the company of Charity Mwangi and Mohamud Mwanzi who was the driver, had an argument with Mr Mwanzi with whom they were seated at the front and held onto the steering wheel and struggled with him making the vehicle lose control rolling by the roadside.
According to a report filed at Nanyuki Police Station, the three were headed to Nanyuki from Nyeri town when the accident occurred.
Mr Mwanzi and Ms Mwangi escaped unhurt during the incident.
The body was moved to Nanyuki Referral Hospital as investigations continue.
