William Ruto Friday appointed former Agriculture CS Felix Koskei as State House Chief of Staff deputized by former Turkana Governor and director general of Kenya Kwanza Presidential campaign team Josphat Nanok.

Mr Koskei, who former President Uhuru Kenyatta ejected from his cabinet over graft allegations, will also head the Public Service replacing outgoing Mr Joseph Kinyua.

Former Treasury Principal Secretary Kamau Thugge made a comeback into government after he was appointed Senior Advisor and Head of Fiscal Affairs and Budget Policy.

Katoo ole Metito who unsuccessfully contested for Kajiado gubernatorial seat in the August 9 elections was named the State House comptroller.

Dr David Ndii, who was the brain behind Ruto’s bottom-up economic model, has been appointed the Chairperson of the newly created President’s Council of Economic Advisors that also has Dr Nancy Laibuni and Mohammed Hassan as associate member and member respectively.

Dr Augustine Cheruiyot who was a member of the initial economic advisory team is now Senior Advisor and Head of Economic Transformation Secretariat.

David Mugonyi will head the Presidential Communication Service deputized by Hussein Mohamed, the new State House Spokesperson.
