Twenty nine (29) Ethiopian immigrants who were reportedly set to be smuggled outside the country have been rescued in Donholm, Nairobi County.
Police reports indicate that the foreigners were set to be facilitated to Middle East where they had been promised jobs.
Acting on a tip-off from the public, Transnational and Organized Crime unit detectives traced the location of the victims and found them locked in a house in Sunrise Estate with a 31-year-old Geldo Daldalo who has been arrested.
The victims were taken to Buruburu Police Station.
A motor-vehicle, Toyota Alphard silver in colour, suspected to have ferried the victims was also detained.
Ms Daldalo is currently being detained at Muthaiga Police Station as she helps in investigation.
