Eleven people, majority of them elderly persons going to register for government’s Inua Jamii cash transfer program, died and several were injured after the bus they were traveling in was involved in an accident along Kirie-Siakago road.
Police have launched probe into the cause of the accident.
The Waridi bus was headed towards Siakago when the accident occured.
National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi condoled with the bereaved families and wished the injured quick recovery.
