The High Court has issued a warrant of arrest against DCI boss George Kinoti for defying a court order.
The court directed Inspector General of Police Hillary Mutyambai to arrest and present to court the Director of Criminal Investigation Mr Kinoti to answer charges of defying a court order issued by Justice Mwita on June 21, 2019.
Mr Kinoti was weeks ago sentenced to four months imprisonment at the Kamiti Maximum Prison for contempt of court.
According to court documents, the DCI boss had failed to return firearms confiscated from business man Jimmy Wanjigi’s home.
