A multi agency security team conducting an operation in Marsabit has recovered 53 animals that had been stolen few days ago by suspected bandits.
The animals that includes 43 sheep, five goats and five cows were driven to Turusi in Laisamis where they were recovered.
The five cows had allegedly strayed from their grazing fields in Jaldesa and were recovered in Shure area.
The National Police Service (NPS ) has appealed to the locals to volunteer information that could lead to arrest of criminals to avert similar incidences in the future.
