A Kenyan national who was charged with four counts of engaging in pedophilia with one girl and faces another count of inciting an underage girl to perform a sexual act has been extradited to the United Kingdom to face charges.

Mr Anthony Kamau is said to have committed the acts between 2005 and 2016 and was charged at Chelmsford Crown Court of Great Britain and Northern Ireland before he jumped bail and went into hiding.

He is said to have been in Kenya for a period of two years after he was granted bail.

The suspect was arrested on June 17, 2022 and presented before court where the extradition orders were given.
