Tension is rife at Kiambogo within Isiolo/Meru border following yesterday’s killing of three people after body of a 15-year-old boy who had gone missing the previous day was found dumped in the area.

Police suspect the attack was retariatory and linked to the discovery of the boy’s body.

Two of those killed were charcoal dealers going on with their business.

Tigania East Police Commander Peter Karanja said manhunt for the assailants was on.

The incident comes barely a month after several camels were killed within the border area.

Six people were killed three months ago in a clash between herders and farmers at Mweronkoro area.
