Police have arrested a third year economics student for allegedly selling fake Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) and Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination papers.
Reports indicate that Mr Oscar Brighton was the administrator to two Whatsapp groups with a total of 72 participants who had fallen prey to his trick.
The Zetech University student was reportedly selling the papers between Sh1600 for humanities and Sh2600 for sciences.
The suspect is currently in police custody awaiting arraignment.
Meanwhile, three people, among them a primary headteacher, KCPE candidate and supervisor are in police custody for abetting cheating in the just concluded national exams.
The three, manning Abrassa Academy in Sololo, Marsabit were arrested on Wednesday after completion of the exams.
