A guard suspected to have stabbed to death a 26-year-old man over a Sh20 parking fee in Nairobi’s Kahawa West area is being sought by detectives.
The suspect only identified as Saluni is said to have around 2AM last night demanded the Sh20 fee from the victim, for parking his motorcycle next to a construction site that he watches.
On seeing that the motorcycle owner was adamant, Saluni brandished a suspected Somali sword from his Maasai shuka, driving it into the victim’s belly before escaping.
Members of the public who heard the victim groan in pain rushed him to Kenyatta University Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival and body moved to the facility’s morgue awaiting post-mortem.
Invetigations are underway as manhunt continues.
