The death toll in the Meru-Isiolo border attack has risen to nine after police recovered four more bodies from the scene.
The attack happened on Wednesday evening after some Isiolo herders were kicked out of Meru side over claims that their camels had destroyed Meru farmers crops.
Two of the bodies were recovered on the Isiolo side including one taken to Isiolo Referral Hospital morgue last night and another buried Thursday afternoon.
Security has been intensified in Mweronkoro area as search for more bodies continues.
