Two KDF soldiers and General Service Unit officers have been shot dead by armed bandits in Laikipia West.
The GSU officers attached to Kamwenje command centre were manning Laikipia Nature conservancy when they were ambushed by the bandits on Wednesday afternoon.
Another senior GSU officer sustained gunshot wounds.
The military men were killed while allegedly digging a trench around the conservancy.
Three security officers were killed and two seriously injured during past incident at the conservancy two weeks ago.
