Two male friends were imbibing drinks at a popular joint in Embakasi, Nairobi when two light-skinned ladies stepped into the bar.
The men asked the ladies to join them but the women were first hesitant before they changed their minds.
They would then party up to 4AM but unknown to them, the merry making would turn out to be their worst nightmare of their lifetime.
They, while drunk, would then proceed to one of the guest rooms but one man left leaving his friend in the company of the two ladies.
He would then be given some pieces of chicken before he passed out.
The man would later find himself fighting for his life in the hospital the following evening after taking an overdose of what is believed to be a stupefying substance.
The ladies took off his mobile phone, ATM and ID card and later managed to withdraw over Sh1 million from his mobile and bank accounts.
The victim would then reach out to detectives who launched a manhunt for the two ladies.
Cybercrime sleuths profiled one of the ladies as Virginia Wangui and pounced on her last evening in Kasarani.
The 30-year-old will be arraigned for stealing charges.
