Isiolo residents have been treated to rude shock after a body of a man was found dumped near a police station.
The lifeless body was discovered by two ladies outside a plot near Kulamawe Police Station on the outskirts of Isiolo town.
Police reports indicate that the deceased, who is yet to be identified, had no physical injuries.
Isiolo Sub-County Police Commander George Kariuki said police officers who visited the scene did not recover any identification documents from the deceased.
The body of the about 40-year-old man was moved to Isiolo Referral Hospital Mortuary awaiting post-mortem that will help establish the cause of the death.
It is suspected that the deceased could have been killed elsewhere and his body dumped near the station or could have collapsed and died.
Mr Kariuki said investigations into the matter had been launched.
