‘Get Ready… Something Really Cool Is Coming Soon’, is the notification that welcomes you on trying to sign into the Tharaka Nithi Government website.
This has been the disappointment to the county residents especially youths who entirely rely on the stalled website for the update on the county operations including latest jobs and advertisements.
The netizens have faulted the county department of Information, Communication Technology (ICT) led by the Executive, Ms Sheila Kiganka, a youthful ICT professional.
Mr Silas Kimathi, a youth from Chogoria town said he had been trying to access the site to check on job advertisements for the last one month unsuccessfully.
“Any time I try to log into our county government website there is a pop up notification indicating that it’s currently not operational,” said Mr Kimathi.
