Five people have been killed in a bandit attack at Mado Wale village in Merti, Isiolo county.
The bandits are suspected to have come from neighbouring Wajir County.
The attackers also vandalized Mado Wale borehole used by the Bassa residents.
Majority of those killed are women.
“We have received reports over the incident but the actual number of those killed is not yet confirmed,” a police source told The Press Point.
