Counties with unused Covid-19 vaccine doses risk losing them so that they are used by willing Kenyans.
Health CS Mutahi Kagwe has warned that over 200, 000 vaccines that lay idle in the counties will be taken back so that they do not expire in the stores.
There has been an apathy among frontline workers across the country over alleged side effects of the jab.
More than 900,000 people, 193, 000 being teachers and workers in schools had been vaccinated by May 6, 2021.
