ODM Leader Raila Odinga has tested positive for Coronavirus.
The former Prime Minister is receiving treatment at a hospital in Nairobi.
This is according to Mr Odinga’s consultant neurosurgeon David Olouch.
“He is responding well to treatment and remains upbeat. We are monitoring his progress,” the doctor said.
Mr Odinga had earlier in the day thanked Kenyans for the well wishes.
“Wakenya Wenzangu. Thank you for the overwhelming messages of goodwill. I am feeling much better now and following doctors orders,” he shared on Twitter.
